IKM Foundation successfully carried out a Mango Tree Distribution Program for madrasas in the Kurunegala district, as part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and community development.
The distribution was organized and coordinated by Mr. Riyadh, District Manager of IKM Foundation, who personally oversaw the handover of mango saplings to selected madrasas in the area. This initiative aims to promote greenery, encourage eco-friendly practices, and provide long-term benefits to educational institutions and surrounding communities.
Mango trees were chosen for their environmental value, shade, and future fruit yield, helping madrasas move towards self-sustainability while contributing positively to the local ecosystem.
IKM Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to all madrasa administrators and volunteers who supported this program. We look forward to expanding similar green initiatives across other districts in the future.
Together, we plant today for a greener tomorrow. 🌱
